- Sustainable Narrative
In this new edition of “Gracias”, we continue to honour extraordinary individuals who, from the quiet of their everyday lives, work tirelessly to build a better Mendoza. These are people who inspire their communities and promote a fairer, more sustainable society through their actions.
With the creative support of Felicidad, this year we recognize even more individuals and groups whose quiet dedication embodies the spirit of our concept, “El rio nos une” The River Unites Us.
- The Honorees
This year’s honorees represent a diverse range of contributions. Among them is Brisa Moyano, who traded her car for land to create a community kitchen now serving over 300 children; Mauricio Pío De Amoriza, who leads a plastic recycling project that transforms waste into sustainable materials; and Lucas Ruiz, a scientist dedicated to the study of glaciers and climate change in Argentina. We also recognize social entrepreneurs like Daniela Aniceto, who designed sustainable food wraps, and cultural figures like Marciano Cantero from Enanitos Verdes, whose music has left an indelible mark on music latin culture. When the honorees gathered, the atmosphere was one of renewed energy, a reminder that they are not alone and that, together, their impact grows stronger.
The 23 Honorees include incredible people whose stories reflect strength, dedication, and compassion. There’s Federico Sánchez, who has rescued over 400 horses from abuse and neglect, and Ana Paula Olguín, who, after losing her hearing, advocates tirelessly for the recognition of sign language rights. Others, like Marcelo Goldman, coach of Mendoza’s first inclusive children’s rugby team, and “Memo” Seguí, who brings rugby to the prison system to foster new opportunities, exemplify the profound impact of mentorship and inclusion.
When these honorees gathered, an inspiring atmosphere filled the room. Together, they shared stories, recharged their energy, and found strength in knowing they are not alone in their efforts. This event became a space of mutual support, where each person’s work and dedication were celebrated, creating a sense of community and renewed purpose for everyone involved.
- Media Coverage
Local media outlets have embraced the Gracias initiative wholeheartedly, amplifying its reach and celebrating the honorees’ inspiring stories across Mendoza. This enthusiastic coverage not only shines a spotlight on individuals who drive positive change but also positions 23 Ríos as a leader in the market, recognized for its commitment to social impact and community values. By giving voice to these impactful stories, the media helps reinforce 23 Ríos’ brand as one that honors local heroes and fosters a deep connection with the people of Mendoza. This visibility strengthens the brand’s leadership in the industry, resonating with audiences who value authenticity, purpose, and community dedication.
