Pinta Cine is a cinema series organized by 23 Ríos, an Argentinian brewery. They wanted to merge beer and film worlds into one event and bring back some classics from all times into the big screen for everyone to enjoy. Beer, popcorn, and great films, what’s a better summer plan?
A series of posters were developed to promote this event. We wanted to create a system that could adapt to every film in the program easily, and that would also communicate beer at a subliminal level. We came up with this paper shape, whose counter form could be read as a pint of beer but also as a film director’s megaphone.
